In the world of heightened sexual sensitivity and willingness to file lawsuits, the Boy Scout Youth Protection Training certificate is a reasonably due diligence effort on the part of individual members, the Chapter, and CASSAR to provide documentation that the members and SAR have taken reasonable steps to avoid child abuse.
All SAR members that may have any contact with youth, such as presenting medals at schools or other venues, accompanying youth on any activity or trip, etc., while representing SAR shall complete the training course, by clicking here.
Members who complete the training shall forward a copy of their certificate to the appropriate Chapter Officer.
